If finally worked out how to create tenticals using a partical spray system, relativly simple to people who know what they are doing but for me it was pretty damn hard.

Like it says (or said) in my journal ~NbdY solved my problem about being able to allocate materials to the spray elements. I went back in after getting p****d off with it and looked harder and found it lol.

I used a type of rusted metal texture and used it as a kind of overlay, I think it looks kool, a old metal look.
